Bundled with Southcore site care

When something breaks, we already know

Pulse is the always-on uptime monitor and public status page that ships with every Southcore retainer. Round-the-clock checks, a branded status page on your domain, and a team that's already investigating before your users hit refresh.

What’s included

The boring monitoring you don’t have to think about

Pulse exists so your site care plan can quietly catch outages, drama-free. No dashboards to learn, no configuration to maintain.

24/7 uptime checks

Every service gets pinged on a schedule, around the clock. The moment something stops responding the way it should, an incident opens automatically — no setup on your end.

Branded public status page

A clean status page hosted on your own domain (status.yourdomain.com) with your logo and brand colour. The URL you share when something goes sideways.

Your team responds first

Pulse pages the Southcore engineers running your retainer. We’re usually investigating before you know there’s a problem — not just sending you an alert and hoping.

90 days of public history

Daily uptime buckets going back three months. Visitors see the same accountability your stakeholders see, and you have a real record when someone asks “has this been happening a lot?”

Live in your console

Active incidents, response times and overall uptime show up inside your Southcore Console next to invoices and project updates. One place, no extra logins.

No extra licence

Pulse is part of the site care retainer. There’s no separate seat, per-monitor pricing or upgrade tier — if you’re a Southcore client, monitoring is already on.

Inside the console

The same view your engineers see

Pulse data lives inside your Southcore Console under the Uptime tab — alongside invoices, updates and analytics. Here’s what it looks like.

How it works

Live by the end of onboarding

Pulse comes online the same day we kick off your retainer. Nothing for you to install, configure or babysit.

01

Sign on to a site care plan

Pulse is bundled with every Southcore retainer. There’s no separate signup, no credit card on file — it’s just part of the package once we’re working together.

02

We wire up your services

During onboarding we add your domains, APIs and any critical endpoints to Pulse, set the check intervals, and configure your branded status page on a subdomain you choose.

03

Your status page goes live

Share status.yourdomain.com with your users and stakeholders. Incidents post automatically, the 90-day history fills in, and the same data shows up in your console — alongside everything else we’re tracking for you.

Who it’s for

Built for the things we ship

Pulse is shaped around the work Southcore Labs does for clients. It maps cleanly to whatever we’ve built or are looking after for you.

Production websites

If your marketing site or landing page being down costs you leads, Pulse catches it before your prospects do — and gives you a public page to point to when someone asks.

  • Domain + key page checks
  • Public status page on your domain
  • Same-day incident response

Web apps & SaaS products

For products with logged-in users, Pulse watches the front-end, the API and any critical dependencies separately, so you know exactly which surface broke and can keep customers updated honestly.

  • Multiple service monitors
  • Per-service uptime history
  • Incident timeline you can share

Internal tools & APIs

Internal services don’t need a public status page, but they still need to stay up. Pulse watches them quietly and surfaces health inside your console — without exposing anything externally.

  • Private monitors, console-only
  • Optional public page
  • Auth-protected endpoints supported

Want Pulse on your stack?

The simplest way to get Pulse is to work with us. Tell us about your site or product and we’ll suggest the right site care plan — monitoring is on the moment we kick off.
